South Carolina Senator Robert Ford is attempting to outlaw profanity. Under his bill, the penalty for lewd language would be up to 5 years in prison and/or $5000 in fines.

Well as a resident of South Carolina I have noticed that we that we have absolutely no crime or any other problems for our elected officials to deal with…so I am DAMN glad to know that Senator Ford is hard at work!
