Ah, the middle of August. The days here are DAMN hot. The dog days are fully upon us so time to hole up in that A/C and visit some cool sites. Here’s three sites I’ve opened in my browser tabs:
Long live GeoCities!! This absolutely fantastic site called Ransei’s Void fully embraces that GeoCities aesthetic but with some extra coding chops added in (she built her own static site builder)!
Fun little site to see the shade throughout the day where you live (or anywhere else). I’m showing you the daily shade in Augusta Georgia. Great visualization.
In keeping with the geo based type of site check out Make My Drive Fun. Truly useful – you give it a start and stop and it will show you many interested stops on the way. I’m showing Augusta to Atlanta GA – found a lot of stuff I didn’t know about.
