Saw this on Chris Pirillo’s site – these instruction are for Vista but I did it on my Acer Core Duo laptop and it works like a charm.  Just select the BOOT.INI tab and then advanced – there’s a entry for number of processors.  I put in 2 and works for me. Here’s the original…
